How often we see programmes on tv about improving our house or garden, the hosts showing us how jolly easy it all is and how you only need to buy this or that. The favourite one is a particular houses for auction site – it’s compulsive viewing for anyone with an odd hour these days! I actually know a couple for whom the house buying dream has become a reality – they’ve done up one house bought convenionally, making a small profit but they learned a massive amount about their abilities and limitations. They are well on their way to finishing the next project and will have that on the rental market soon.
The ony problem for them now is finding another property – with everyone wanting to take up the property magnate challenge, this causes a shortfall. A construction and property company will always find their land and next project though – they have the knowledge and expertise.
